At the heart of the exceptional natural heritage of 35 ha with two bodies of seawater, numerous pedestrian and cycle paths, La Vieille Perrotine is a holiday village suitable for welcoming families. With no vehicle traffic and limited parking, it is a space of freedom and safety.

Room with 2 single beds, bathroom with sink, shower, and WC. No kitchen, a small refrigerator is at your disposal in the room. Covered terrace with garden furniture.

Cottage 4 people (33 m²)
Living room with equipped kitchen (2 electric hobs, tabletop fridge, coffee maker, microwave) and a double bed on a platform. Shower room with sink, shower, and WC. A bedroom with 2 bunk beds. Covered terrace with garden furniture.

Cottage 5 people (40 m²)
Living room with equipped kitchen (2 electric hobs, tabletop fridge, coffee maker, microwave). Shower room with sink and shower, separate WC. One bedroom with 2 single beds and another bedroom with 3 single beds, including 1 stork bed. Covered terrace with garden furniture and 2 deckchairs.

This cottage is also available in a renovated version. The advantages: large fridge/freezer, ceramic hob, kettle, toaster.

The climate

With its exceptional sunshine (2,400 hours per year, or as much as the French Riviera) and its proximity to the Islands of Ré, Oléron, Aix and Madame, La Rochelle is a special holiday resort.

La Rochelle enjoys an oceanic climate. With plenty of rain in autumn and in winter, the winters are mild, and it is the sunniest spot on the Atlantic littoral.

In summer, temperatures are tempered by the sea breeze. It is caused by the rise in the ground temperature during the day while the sea temperature remains constant, and can be felt as wind which sometimes blows fairly strongly from the sea inland in the afternoon. Ideal for sailing, the breeze also keeps maximum temperatures agreeable.
